RESOLUTION No. 6514

IN THE MATTER OF AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 6486

Promulgated: 05 January 2004

This pertains to the amendment of COMELEC Resolution No. 6486 promulgated 23 December 2003, which reads “RULES AND REGULATIONS ON THE MANDATORY DRUG TEST OF CANDIDATES FOR PUBLIC OFFICE, BOTH NATIONAL AND LOCAL, UNDER SECTION 36 (g) OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9125 IN CONNECTION WITH THE MAY 10, 2004 SYNCHRONIZED NATION AND LOCAL ELECTIONS”

It appearing that Republic Act No. 9165 was inadvertently encoded as Republic Act No. 9125, the Commission RESOLVED, as it hereby RESOLVES, to amend the title of Resolution 6486, to now read as follows

"RULES AND REGULATIONS ON THE MANDATORY DRUG TEST OF CANDIDATES FOR PUBLIC OFFICE, BOTH NATIONAL AND LOCAL, UNDER SECTION 36 (G) OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9165 IN CONNECTION WITH THE MAY 10, 2004 SYNCHRONIZED NATIONAL AND LOCAL ELECTIONS."
