REPUBLIC ACT No. 10401

AN ACT CONVERTING THE RIMANDO – AMBIONG ROAD TRAVERSING ANDRES BONIFACIO JUNCTION IN BAGUIO CITY TO AMBIONG LOCATED IN LA TRINIDAD, BENGUET INTO A NATIONAL ROAD AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The 2.5-kilometer Rimando – Ambiong Road in Baguio City traversing Andres Bonifacio Junction in Baguio City to Ambiong, La Trinidad, Benguet is hereby converted into a national road under the jurisdiction and supervision of the Department of Public Works and Highways.

Section 2. The Secretary of Public Works and Highways shall include in the Department’s program the improvement, repair and maintenance of the said road, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3. The Secretary of Public Works and Highways shall issue the necessary rules, orders and circulars to implement the provisions of this Act.

Section 4. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation.1âwphi1
