Begun and held in Metro Manila, on Monday, the twenty-seventh day of July, two thousand nine.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 10074

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE CONVERSION OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE (LTO) EXTENSION OFFICE IN THE CITY OF CALAMBA, PROVINCE OF LAGUNA INTO A REGULAR DISTRICT OFFICE TO BE KNOWN AS THE LTO DISTRICT OFFICE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Extension Office in the City of Calamba, Province of Laguna is hereby converted into a regular district office to be known as the LTO District Office.

Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Communications shall issue the necessary rules and regulations to implement the said conversion.

Section 3. The amount needed for the operationalization of a regular LTO District Office in the City of Calamba, Province of Laguna shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
