REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9197 March 13, 2003

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE CONVERSION OF THE TALABA-SUMMIT-PANAON PROVINCIAL ROAD, ALL IN THE PROVINCE OF QUEZON, INTO A NATIONAL ROAD AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENT THEREON

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The Provincial road connecting the Talaba-Summit-Panaon Provincial Road in the municipalities of Unisan and Atimonan, all in the Province of Quezon, which has a length of twenty (20) kilometers, is hereby converted into a national road.

Section 2. The Secretary of the Department of Public Works and Highways shall include in its program the improvement, maintenance and repair of the said road, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
