REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9056       April 04, 2001

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY LINGAYAO, MUNICIPALITY OF LAS NIEVES, PROVINCE OF AGUSAN DEL NORTE TO BE KNOWN AS THE LINGAYAO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The Lingayao National High School is hereby established in Barangay Lingayao, Municipality of Las Nieves, Province of Agusan del Norte under the direct supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports.

Section 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on May 31, 2000 and February 5, 2001, respectively.
