REPUBLIC ACT No. 6954             May 24, 1990

AN ACT REQUIRING ALL DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND HIGHWAYS PROJECTS AND OTHER GOVERNMENT INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED BEFORE COMMENCEMENT, DURING IMPLEMENTATION AND AFTER COMPLETION THEREOF

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. All Department of Public Works and Highways projects and other government infrastructure projects shall be photographed before commencement, during significant stages or phases of implementation, and after completion thereof.

Section 2. The Secretary of Public Works and Highways shall promulgate such rules and regulations as may be necessary to implement this Act: provided, that the photographs shall be included as among the requirements of all progress billings of the projects.

Section 3. Such amount as may be necessary to implement this Act shall be charged to the appropriations for the projects as authorized by law for the Department of Public Works and Highways and other government infrastructure projects.

Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
