[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6475, June 17, 1972 ]

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF AN EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CALABANGA, PROVINCE OF CAMARINES SUR, TO BE KNOWN AS CALABANGA EMERGENCY HOSPITAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF THE NECESSARY FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Director of Medical Services, an emergency hospital in the Municipality of Calabanga, Province of Camarines Sur, to be known as Calabanga Emergency Hospital. The site for the said hospital shall be determined by the municipal council of the Municipality of Calabanga, in consultation with the Director of Medical Services.1âшphi1

Section 2. The Secretary of Health shall promulgate such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry into effect the purpose of this Act.

Section 3. The sum of three hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said hospital, including the construction of buildings and purchase of lot.

Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
