DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM JULY 23 TO 29, 1972, AS MANAGEMENT CONSCIOUSNESS WEEK
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the Government to promote management consciousness in both the public and private sectors to help achieve the developmental goals of the Nation;
WHEREAS, the Philippine Council of Management is sponsoring a Third Philippine Management Congress from July 23 to 29, 1972, which will be attended by management experts, practitioners and educators from the Philippines and other Asian-Pacific Countries; and
WHEREAS, management consciousness is essential to promote better business practices, increase production and improve public administration and services, which are vital prerequisites to economic developments, social progress and stability;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from July 23 to 29, 1972, as “MANAGEMENT CONSCIOUSNESS WEEK.”
