DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 13 TO 19, 1960, AS BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL WOMEN’S WEEK

In recognition of the important role being played by business and professional women in the promotion of the economic and social welfare of our country and people, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from November 13 to 19, 1960, as Business and Professional Women’s Week. I call upon all citizens and residents of the Philippines, irrespective of nationality or creed, to cooperate in the celebration of, this week so that the contribution of business and professional women to the economy of the country as well as the problems brought about by their dual role as home-makers and earners will be brought to the attention of the whole country.1aшphi1
