MALACAÑANG PALACE Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES Proclamation No. 611 GIVING PUBLIC NOTICE OF THE APPROVAL BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF NATIONAL ASSEMBLY BILL NO. 1732, NOW KNOWN AS COMMONWEALTH ACT NO. 613. In accordance with the provisions of section fifty-one of the bill of the National Assembly No. 1732, entitled "Act to control and regulate the immigration of aliens into the Philippines," I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, do hereby give public notice of the approval by the President of the United States on August 26, 1940, as provided in section 2, subsection (a), paragraph 9, of the Act of Congress of March 24, 1934, as amended, of said National Assembly Bill No. 1732. The National Assembly bill above mentioned becomes Commonwealth Act No. 613. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed.
