Proclamation No. 424

RESERVING FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES TWO PARCELS OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE BARRIOS OF DIGON AND TALUSAN, MUNICIPALITY OF MARGOSATUBIG, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA, ISLAND OF MINDANAO.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-three of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for school purposes, under the administration of the Director of Education, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following parcels of the public domain, situated in the barrios of Digon and Talusan, municipality of Margosatubig, Province of Zamboanga, Island of Mindanao, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Mr-406, to wit:

Lot No. 1 (barrio of Digon).—Beginning at a point marked 1 on Bureau of Lands plan Mr-406, S. 69° 23′ W. 3,561.50 m., more or less, from B. L. L. M. No. 1, municipality of Margosatubig, thence S. 68° 37′ W. 124.41 m. to point 2; N. 18° 33′ W. 88.81 m. to point 3; N. 63° 29′ E. 97.50 m. to point 4; S. 34° 37′ E. 100.18 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 10,349 square meters.

All corners are old B. L. concrete monuments, 15 by 60 cm.

Bounded on the northeast by property of Leonardo de la Rosa; on the southeast, by property of Laquisiron (Subano); and on the southwest, and northwest, by property of Leonardo de la Rosa.

Bearings true. Declination, 2° 05′ E.

Lot No. 2 (barrio of Talusan).—Beginning at a point marked 1 on Bureau of Lands plan Mr-406, S. 71° 48′ E. 13,981.29 m., more or less, from C. & G. S. triangulation station Pan 1907, municipality of Margosatubig, thence N. 4° 33′ E. 214.40 m. to point 2; N. 5° 58′ E. 191.59 m. to point 3; N. 77° 14′ E. 154.35 m. to point 4; S. 13° 11′ E. 85.94 m. to point 5; S. 86° 15′ E. 158.49 m. to point 6; S. 10° 36′ E. 189.90 m. to point 7; S. 68° 48′ W. 252.04 m. to point 8; S. 68° 04′ W. 178.05 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 111,388 square meters.

Points 1, 2, and 3, old P. L. S. concrete monuments; point 8, old galvanized iron spike in cross on tree; and the rest are old B. L. concrete monuments.

Bounded on the north by public land and property of Melecio Sumicad; on the northeast, by properties of Melecio Sumicad and heirs of Eugenio Labrorana; on the southeast, by property of Vicente Dipol; and on the west, by property of heirs of Pastor Dagalca Cruz.
