Proclamation No. 325

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 322, DATED SEPTEMBER 23, 1938, SO AS TO SET ASIDE OCTOBER 19, 1938, AS A DAY FOR THE INAUGURATION OF THE CITY OF BACOLOD, AND DECLARING IT A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY FOR THE PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL.3

Proclamation Numbered Three hundred twenty-two, dated September twenty-third, One thousand nine hundred thirty-eight, is hereby amended to read as follows:

"By virtue of the powers conferred upon me by law, I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, do hereby set aside October nineteenth, One thousand nine hundred thirty-eight, for the inauguration of the City of Bacolod, created by Commonwealth Act Numbered Three hundred twenty-six, as amended by Commonwealth Act Numbered Four hundred four.

"In order to provide full opportunity for the people of Negros Occidental to participate in the celebration of the inauguration of the said city, so that the day may be fittingly observed, October nineteenth, One thousand nine hundred thirty-eight, is hereby declared a special public holiday for the Province of Negros Occidental."

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done at the City of Manila, this third day of October, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and thirty-eight, and of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, the third.
