Proclamation No. 12

EXTENDING THE PERIOD OF SPECIAL SESSION TO DECEMBER 20, 1935

Whereas, by Proclamation Numbered Two issued November twenty-first nineteen hundred and thirty-five, the National Assembly was called in special session for a period of fifteen days commencing on Monday, November twenty-fifth, for the purpose of considering and passing such measures as may be submitted to it by the President of the Philippines;

Whereas, it is expedient that the period of said special session be extended so as to permit the National Assembly to consider and pass upon measures of urgent necessity now pending before, and to be further submitted to, that body;

Now, therefore, pursuant to the powers conferred upon me by the Constitution and by existing laws, I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, hereby extend the period of the special session of the National Assembly duly called in Proclamation Numbered Two to the twentieth day of December, nineteen hundred and thirty-five.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done at the City of Manila, this eleventh day of December, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and thirty-five, and of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, the first.
