ENJOINING ALL GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS, AGENCIES AND OFFICES TO PARTICIPATE AND SUPPORT THE DOH ORGANIZED “PINOY-SPORTS – IWAS SA SMOKE” MINI-OLYMPICS ON 31 MAY 1996

In line with the celebration of the World No Tobacco Day on May 31, 1996 with the theme “Sports and Arts Without Tobacco – Play it Tobacco Free”, the Department of Health is organizing an inter-agency mini-olympics dubbed as “Pinoy Sports – Iwas sa Smoke” at the Ultra Sports Complex, Pasig City. The activity will encourage government agencies to advocate for a healthy lifestyle through sports and exercise without tobacco sponsorship.

In this connection, all government departments, agencies and offices are enjoined to fully participate and provide logistic support as necessary for this activity, as per Executive Order No. 63, and 64, series of 1993, on Sports for All Filipinos by the year 2000.1aшphi1
