EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 431 July 2, 1974

EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE PRESIDENTIAL COMMISSION ON REORGANIZATION CREATED UNDER EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 281, SERIES OF 1970

WHEREAS, the installation of the reorganization provided for under the Integrated Reorganization Plan, as amended, remains to be completed;

WHEREAS, major changes in the Reorganization Plan have subsequently been adopted, particularly the creation of new departments, which require to be implemented and reflected in the National Budget for Fiscal Year 1974-1975, especially the new staffing patterns therefor;

WHEREAS, there may be further need to review and make final adjustments in the Integrated Reorganization Plan, which requires continued technical assistance in completing the final phases of the reorganization work; and

WHEREAS, there is need to continue staff support to the Career Executive Service Board which was created under the Integrated Reorganization Plan.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby extend the term of the Presidential Commission on Reorganization up to December 31, 1974.

The Executive Secretary shall issue the necessary directives for the detail or the extension of the detail of such technical personnel as may be needed by the Commission, under the same conditions as prescribed in Executive Order No. 281, as amended.

The Commission is authorized to disburse and defray all expenses for its operation from July 1, 1974 to December 31, 1974, from funds as may be available from the Office of the President.
