REORGANIZING THE OFFICE OF THE RESIDENT COMMISSIONER OF THE PHILIPPINES TO THE UNITED STATES

Pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, Sergio Osmeņa, President of the Philippines, do hereby order:

1. The sum of P80,000 out of the appropriation authorized in item B-IV-8, of Commonwealth Act No. 723, is hereby transferred to and made part of and in addition to the appropriation authorized in item B-(7) of said Act for the Office of the Resident Commissioner of the Philippines to the United States.

2. The Office of the Resident Commissioner of the Philippines to the United States, item B-(7), of Commonwealth Act No. 723, is hereby reorganized as follows:

50. For salaries of personnel, sundry expenses, and purchases of furniture and equipment for the offices in San Francisco and other cities P75,000.00
51. For expenses for the sale of Philippine postage stamps at a surcharge 3,750.00
To be paid out of the income from surcharges for the sale of postage stamps (3,750.00)

3. This Order shall take effect as of October 1, 1945.
