CREATING A COMMITTEE TO HOLD A MUSIC CONTEST IN CONNECTION WITH INDEPENDENCE DAY IN 1946

Pursuant to the provisions of Article XIV, Section 4, of the Constitution, which provides that arts and letters shall be under the patronage of the State, there is hereby created and constituted a Committee to hold a music contest ill connection with Independence Day in 1946., The Committee shall meet at such places and times as may be designated by the Chairman, and shall be composed of the following members:

Miss Jovita Fuentes         -   Member
Miss Maria Lopes Vito    - Member
Mrs. Trinidad F. Legarda        Member
Mr. Antonio J. Molina      Member
Mr. Luis Valencia    - Member
Mr. Alfredo Robles         - Member

The Committee shall promulgate rules and regulations governing said music contest, subject to the approval of the President, and shall arrange for the presentation of the prizes in an appropriate ceremony in connection with Independence Day. The Committee is hereby empowered to call on any official, office, branch or dependency of the Government for such assistance as may be required to carry out the work entrusted to it.
